We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Manager to lead our team at our Queen Victoria Building (QVB) store.  Based in Sydney CBD, our iconic QVB store serves an average of almost 4,000 customers per week, who are delighted by a team of 30 talented and knowledgeable staff.  

With an emphasis on work-life balance, this role will enable the successful candidate to only work 1 weekend per month and still manage a successful management career in retail.

Reporting to the Area Retail Manager - NSW & ACT, the Store Manager will be a committed individual with a solid retail background, polished presentation and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will have the full support of the Assistant Store Manager; be collectively responsible for developing and motivating the team to deliver the best customer experience, every time.

To be successful in the position, you will have:

  • Previous management experience in retail or hospitality managing a large team of 30 or more (essential)
  • Experienced in all facets of financial store management and reporting (essential)
  • Experience achieving KPI's and store targets (essential)
  • A strong focus on achieving exceptional customer service from your team
  • A great committed attitude and work ethic
  • Passion about training and development
  • Experience leading by example, not afraid to get your elbows deep in chocolate
  • The ability to motivate and inspire your team
  • Integrity, enthusiasm and strong communication skills
