Haigh’s roast their own cocoa beans, ethically sourced from plantations around the world, to create a unique blend of premium milk and dark chocolate.  Through meticulous artisan skills that include handmade chocolate creation and finishing, combined with advanced manufacturing equipment and techniques, Haigh’s creates exquisite chocolates that look and taste delicious.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join us on a fixed-term basis for 6 months, covering parental leave, with the possibility of extension for a total of up to 12 months. This role sits within our Commercial team at Head Office in Parkside and reports to the Office Coordinator. The successful candidate will work full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 5:00pm). 

As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for creating a positive customer experience to internal and external customers in person and over the phone. You will also support the Office Coordinator and provide administrative support for other departments and retail stores. 

Your key duties will include:

  • Answering, screening and directing phone calls
  • Greeting visitors and inducting contractors
  • Actioning incoming and outgoing mail
  • Arranging couriers
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies       
  • Coordinating meeting rooms       
  • Maintaining office procedures and schedules   
  • Assisting with the preparation of seasonal information for retail stores

To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in providing reception duties or administrative support (essential)
  • Commitment to developing and maintaining very high standards of customer service
  • Ability to work in an organised manner within time constraints and to a high standard
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • A can-do attitude, ready smile and sense of fun
  • Previous experience in invoice data entry will be an advantage
