An experienced Engineering Manager, forming part of the Supply Chain Leadership Team, you will have accountability across all of our manufacturing sites (Parkside, Mile End and the new Salisbury South Complex currently under construction). The initial focus will be on commissioning the new site as it becomes operational in early to mid-2025.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, Supply Chain, you will lead the Engineering Team who will manage all technical aspects of our machinery and services, manage capital projects and partner with your peers to ensure safe and efficient production processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining operational excellence and advancing strategic initiatives, including a multimillion-dollar manufacturing project. We’re eager to hear from candidates with a solid engineering background, ideally in food manufacturing, with proven leadership skills.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategy development and execution of technical aspects of the business.
  • Lead major capital projects, provide machinery recommendations, develop business cases and implement these projects.
  • Work with the manufacturing team to enhance the process flow to aid efficiency and ensure safety.
  • Oversee all technical aspects of our state-of-the-art Chocolate making and Production facilities.
  • Manage maintenance and capital budgets, ensuring cost control for projects and processes.
  • Manage the maintenance of our equipment park.
  • Ensure legal compliance, manage risks, and adhere to safety and governance standards.
  • Lead and develop your team and foster collaboration between engineering and manufacturing.
  • Uphold our high technical standards.
