We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and commercially savvy Finance Business Partner to join our growing team at our Head Office in Parkside, reporting to the Head of Finance. This exciting new role will be crucial in providing financial reporting, forecasting and insights to support business decisions across departments. Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and share financial insights and partnering with departments on accruals, forecasts and budget queries.
  • Supporting month-end journal processing and working closely with the Management Accountant.
  • Assist with annual budgeting process by partnering with budget holders to prepare data, analysing data, populating data inputs and developing templates.
  • Providing financial modelling and analysis to empower decision-making, long-term planning and cost optimisation, while ensuring budget adherence.
  • Developing and tracking key performance metrics, creating dashboards and leading initiatives to enhance financial systems, boost productivity and maintain quality data.
  • Promote financial literacy by delivering training and workshops that help other departments understand and leverage financial data effectively.
  • Support annual insurance premium financial data collation and insurance claims.
  • Partnering closely with the Management Accountant and Systems Accountant to provide essential information and support.
  • Managing and mentoring the Finance Officer, stepping in as needed and working alongside the Head of Finance to support your personal growth and team success.

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, Degree in Finance or similar, CPA qualified, commercially astute.
  • A sharp commercial mind and a solid understanding of finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manufacturing or a similar industry experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Leadership experience, with a track record of developing and guiding high-performing teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a knack for problem-solving, organisation and prioritisation.
  • A drive to continuously improve financial processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the business and provide strategic financial guidance to colleagues with non-financial backgrounds.
