We’re excited to offer a newly created full-time, permanent opportunity for a P&C / WHS Advisor to join the People & Culture team. Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, this role is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate HR and safety professional to make a real impact. You'll work closely with leaders across the business to deliver high-impact support in both HR and Work Health & Safety, helping to strengthen our culture, reduce risk and champion employee wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide generalist HR support across performance, conduct, grievances and probation.
- Partner with leaders on flexible work, workforce planning and engagement.
- Support WHS Manager with injury management and return-to-work processes.
- Assist with employment contracts and changes to terms and conditions.
- Contribute to HR and WHS projects, policies and continuous improvement.
- Promote safety culture and support wellness initiatives.
- Coach leaders on HR and WHS matters to build capability and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety standards and policies.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to WHS responsibilities.
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and workplace safety principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, WHS, or a related field (essential).
