  • Promote a culture of health and safety, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure all team members accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify and resolve machinery and quality issues promptly.
  • Oversee daily operations in your area, collaborating to exceed targets.
  • Contribute insights during toolbox talks and monthly meetings.
  • Manage team member scheduling and approvals for smooth operations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in manufacturing, preferably in food production.
  • Strong people management and excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to embrace change and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills, with the ability to operate systems and complete online documentation.
  • Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving abilities.
  • A focus on continuous improvement, safety, and quality.
  • Experience in a cooking or kitchen environment is highly desirable but not essential.

There’s never been a better time to join us as we move into our brand-new, multi-million-dollar complex in Salisbury South. Enjoy modern breakout spaces, a wellness room with massage chairs, games table, exercise equipment, and free on-site parking - all part of a supportive and growing business ready for its next chapter.

Inclusion matters at Haigh’s. We believe that valuing differences in backgrounds, cultures, abilities and experiences helps create a workplace free from bias and prejudice. We’re committed to making reasonable adjustments throughout our recruitment process and beyond, to ensure a barrier-free and supportive experience for all.

If you’re great with people, enjoy solving problems and have a sweet spot for chocolate, we’d love to hear from you!
