Following some exciting internal moves within our People & Culture Team, we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us attract, engage and onboard the wonderful people who make Haigh’s so special.
Based at our Parkside Head Office, this 12-month contract is your chance to play a key role in shaping the future of our workforce. Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, you’ll lead the full recruitment lifecycle across all areas of Haigh’s, from manufacturing to retail and everything in between. You’ll build strong talent pipelines, deliver standout candidate experiences and help bring our employer brand to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across Customer Experience, Supply Chain and Support Functions.
- Drive high-volume campaigns during our busiest (and most exciting!) times, Christmas and Easter.
- Source, attract and engage great people while building strong pipelines for future needs.
- Partner with hiring managers on recruitment strategy and market insights.
- Plan, host and attend recruitment events and industry expos to connect with top talent.
- Manage recruitment budgets and monitor spend.
- Deliver a smooth, engaging and positive experience for every candidate and new team member.
- Keep recruitment data up to date and report on key metrics.
- Continuously look for ways to improve how we recruit - faster, smarter and more creatively.
- Collaborate across teams to showcase Haigh’s culture, values and employee value proposition.
About You
- Experienced in managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple functions (internal recruitment highly regarded).
- A trusted partner who builds great relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
- Passionate about creating exceptional candidate experiences and championing our employer brand.
- Strong communicator with a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience within FMCG, retail or manufacturing environments is highly regarded.
- Bonus points if you’ve supported recruitment for new store or site openings.
- A relevant degree or qualification is a plus.
Tools you’ll use
You’ll work with Scout Talent (ATS), Dayforce (HRIS) and Referoo (pre-employment checking system), as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and recruitment platforms like Seek and LinkedIn.
