At Haigh’s Chocolates, learning is more than training, it’s how we build capability, confidence and pride across our Supply Chain. We’re looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to design, deliver and embed high-quality training that supports operational excellence across Manufacturing and Logistics.

You’ll work collaboratively alongside colleagues in People & Culture Team, and across the business to design and enhance Supply Chain operations training. Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, this is a permanent, full-time role working across our Parkside, Mile End and Sailsbury South operations.

About You:

You’re organised, proactive and passionate about developing people in a fast-paced operational environment. You build strong relationships, communicate clearly and aren’t afraid to question the status quo in pursuit of better ways of working. Here’s what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Training experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally food focussed
  • Experience in designing training materials, including engaging e-learning using multi-media
  • Ability to design and deliver face-to-face and online workshops including group inductions and development workshops, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and diverse environment
  • Exemplary commitment to customer service for both internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to keep accurate training records
  • Good computer skills e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly learn how to use Haigh’s Learning Management System (LMS)
  • A Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (preferred)
